It was the Russians
4 winners in 7 divisions? Seems like too much back slapping to me, but congrats anyway.
The unfinished business are the pink elephants of FBS football and men's basketball quandry.
He is being seeded with FCS AD's from Kennesaw State, Georgetown, and North Dakota (not ND State). Seems like we need to put our big boy pants on.

“Jim Tressel, you won FCS AD of the Year. This is not a joke, come up here. Jim Tressel has won FCS AD of the Year.”
Congratulations to Jeff Bourne.
Bourne Identity--Russian collaborator.
Congrats to Jeff!
The FCS ranks will likely never have another.
I'm sure his T-shirt will read: "NCAA Division I AD of the Year" with no asterisk.

But as far as FCS mid-major regional master's level ADs go, I do think he's great.
Again, my Grandmother could have negotiated a better deal than the deal we have with NSU and she's been dead for 30+ years. One serious screwing of the pooch.
I'm glad we're staying on topic for once in a thread. I just can't believe this somehow happened! That agency has no credibility.
Congratulations to Jeff Bourne on this incredible achievement. It just shows the conviction and courage it takes to navigate a university through the ever changing and fluid landscape of college athletics.

03-lmfao I just fell out my chair laughing...I needed that, thanks.

The back of the shirt: "Highest In-State Winning Percentage"

Bump for 2018

SBJ (SportsBusiness Journal) today announces 5 finalists for 2018 AD of the Year:
Sandy Barbour, Penn State
Jeff Bourne, James Madison
Boo Corrigan, Army
Jim Phillips, Northwestern
Danny White, UCF
How can there not be a single Sun Belt, CUSA or MAC AD nominated? Those are clearly a group of leaders who are doing it much better from the sound of this message board.
How much of a bonus does this get the AD? How much is it going to take to keep him from being poached by fbs schools ??? Is a new 10 year deal in the works?
