Charleston got the better draw from pillow fight Friday. I'd much rather face JMU or Drexel vs. Hofstra or Delaware.
It's an OK tradeoff. Tougher Quarterfinal game but I like the 4-5 options for our Semi-Final matchup.
I agree Nation. If you can't win the first game, you don't deserve it anyway and they will be a bit tired. You don't want to face C of C or Towson until the final but it's looking like C of C will make the final game the way it looks. Hawks should have a good shot to win it, but they have to play together on both ends.
Elon hosts Delaware today. If they win that or Northeastern loses they are in the 4 5 game.

Tribe is in the same boat. If they win against Towson at home or Northeastern loses they are in the 4 5 game.

Northeastern has to win at Trask and have either or both Elon and Tribe lose to get on our side of the bracket
Ok. William and Mary will likely be the 4 or 5 seed. It actually makes no difference if that happens, since the 4 and 5 seed play each other on Saturday. If UNCW can win on Saturday in Charleston, they will play the winner of Towson v. #6 seed on Sunday.

Would love to see the Tribe drop to #6 since they seem to give us a lot of trouble and they would have to face Towson. However, for the Tribe to drop to #6, they have to lose to Towson today, UNCW has to lose to NU today, and Elon would have to beat Delaware.
UNCW would play the winner of the #4//#5 seed on Sunday and that won't be Towson because they're a 3 seed correct? Maybe I'm missing something or it's a bit too early on a Saturday morning....
Don't care to play Towson again. They are really thick and physical. If they had been allowed to get away with the pushes and elbows in the second half, like they did in the first half, they would have beat us.
Yeah we are the 1 Seed 82
Towson is a bully team that is physical, but they don't shoot well or have guys that make plays. If they could incorporate that toughness with some skill, that would be outstanding. Moto is hard to deal with and Morsell is too.

Correct. We can't face Towson or CofC until the final.
As someone pointed out on our board, both CofC and UNCW are guaranteed to face a team that beat them in the semis on Sunday if they advance.

Yep, luck of the draw. The 4/5 matchup of the Tribe and Elon assures one advances and will play UNCW if we can win Saturday. The good part is that Elon and William and Mary have been far better teams at home than away.

UNCW also got the toughest draw from pillow fight Friday. Hofstra is easily the best of the bottom four and they play Delaware whom they will likely beat.
Avoiding Charleston, Towson and Northeastern until the final was crucial. Those are the 3 scariest teams in my book, in that order.

Agreed. We gave away the Elon game. The Tribe always makes me nervous though although I think we will win

W&M just doesn't strike me as a "mentally tough" team this year (in years past they have been). Their inability to win outside of Kaplan is proof of that.

Hofstra plays Delaware, not Drexel. I'm a Hofstra fan, and the reason I don't want to face you is that you have a little chance at an at-large bid with a loss in the Final to College of Charleston in North Charleston, but you won't get an at-large bid if you lose to Hofstra.
From the College of Charleston Message board:

"Just got back from box office buying tickets. They show UNCW buying at least 500 more tickets than CofC fans through books. I do think we will have a lot of fans like me buying at the box office."

Pretty damned impressive!
