Holy ****, what a game. Typing this right after Dodgers tie it up in bottom 10.
Brandon McCarthy strikes..... yikes.....
seeing Altuve in between ARod and Big Papi is just LOL funny.
EPIC 11 innings.... Astros tie it up!

Overall, they have 12 earned runs in 6 postseason road games. If Verlander wins tomorrow with minimal run support, it means they likely have to win the series in five, six (when he pitches again) or not at all. It's apparent the Astros can't hit on the road.

It's not over yet C2!! Never count out the boys...
Just imagine what I would have posted if they had lost 3-2.
LA in a ton of trouble. Down 2-1 and counting on Wood to get them tied. If they don't- it's 3-1 and they must beat both Keuchel away and Verlander on the road- and then game 7 with McCullers/Peacock staring them right in the eyes.
The Dodgers aren't done but it's looking bad. To win the World Series, they'll need to beat at least one of Keuchal and Verlander if not both. If they can get it to a seventh game, they'll probably win.
I really hope Manfred isn't going to bail them out by suspending Gurriel. The Dodgers are so close to defeat, I can almost taste it. And stever is correct; Dodgers are in a bit of trouble. Not only because counting on Wood is not exactly comforting, but also because Maeda is out of commission and Morrow has now thrown 3 times in 4 days. How effective will he be if he goes for a 4th time in 5? They also used Stripling, Watson and Cingrani. Astros only used Mccullers and Peacock. But the Gurriel suspension does loom large, as they have Wood, Kershaw and Hill to look forward to
Dodgers are not hitting. If that doesn't get fixed nothing else matters.

there is that- but Houston has scored 11 runs and gotten 21 hits in their last 12 innings. Like last night- the Yu Darvish start meant they had no chance really in the game.

he's out 5 games. but to start the regular season. So he's fine for the WS.

How silly would it be for Gurriel to be suspended? He should be condemined by the commissioner at worst.

Disagree. Dodgers, with no run scoring hits, were within 2 runs.
Both managers panicked. Why did they have such a short leash with their starters? You lift a pitcher immediately after he loses a no-hitter?
The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away... That T9 by LA though... WOW...
Pitching obviously came through for the Dodgers tonight, and the moves that Roberts made worked out well for them.

So I and the other 10 million people who said that Kershaw should have started tonight were wrong. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Natually, Kershaw will lose and get a no decision tomorrow night.
If Hinch brings in Ken Giles one more time he should be fired.
Kershaw was permanently injured last season (ruptured disk). He doesn't/can't prepare like he used to. This season had some pretty uncharacteristic performances and I think (hope) the Dodgers have figured out they just can't pitch him on short rest anymore.

What a game. Pretty incredible series so far.
