Tell us your emotional state.
Does ODU winning bring you happiness or anger? Satisfaction or Frustration?
JJ digs himself in deeper after each 20 win season and we'll become American University 2.0. But, he could catch lightning in a bottle like his UVA run in the 90s.
and before you go on hating on my gif (or calling me a pedophile like alum2015)... Kate Upton is a Monarch-in-Law that's over 18
Wish JV would drop 5.25 Mil. on an East Coast football stadium. Hey, you can wish!
Funny how quickly a pair of blowout wins can make the blues go away

You'd think he would do something...

Never heard them called that but yes Kate has quite the pair
I think it's obvious when the "usual suspects" refuse to post after a pair of huge and rather impressive wins, their emotional state is not in question. They pray for ODU's failure so they have something to complain about.

I don't know if this is fair. I think they are probably not sold after two great performances, which I understand. I don't think anyone is praying for ODU's failure.

I
think you're right, but I am sometimes not convinced that there aren't some who would rather the Monarchs fail so they can be proven right.

If this were true, wouldn't they at least show their faces and say something along the lines of, "Glad we won. Hope we can continue to play this well?" Their silence tells me they're upset we won and don't want to show their faces because of the potential for having to eat crow.

And you could be right. I am just being hopeful.

Possibly. I hope not.
Maybe a good poll question would be something like this:
Which would you rather have happen:
---The Monarchs finish in the Top 4 of CUSA every year with no chance at an at-large, but win the CUSA tourney 3 times in 4 years and dance as a 15 seed, or
---The Monarchs finish around .500 for the next two years and Jeff Jones gets fired
I think most fans would still prefer the first choice, but I'm not really that sure.
Before I get too giddy, I'm waiting for Thursday night's game. Marshall has a 3 game winning streak going against us. I am happy that we are winning and seem to be looking at a faster pace of basketball. But I think it would be a mistake to try to run with Marshall. We will need to control the pace in that game. And as always, defense and rebounding.

Crow isn't too bad when fixed properly. I have had to eat it several times.
Regarding the Marshall game. ITS BIG! Looking forward to this one, the atmosphere should be great, its like a playoff game in some respects.
But if I remember correctly, our D was pretty dang good against them last time ...till Stith went down and then it all changed. Isn't that right? Seems we held them way down in the first half of that game but maybe I'm mistaken.

We were definitely cruising when he got hurt. All downhill from there.

Hey, I've had to eat several heaping plates of crow myself. It's all in the spices you use.
