according to usually reliable sources if ferguson isn't going to be a draft pick at the end of next season he should be able to get an extra year of eligibility and play a third year with the tigers
Going to wait and see what the street says about this.
Good news for whoever the new coach is gonna be.

5 to play 4 unless you have some type of severe injury and get a waiver, or go to BYU. He started college at UTay in 2013, redshirted, left in 2014, played at Butler in 2015 and for us in 2016. 2017 will be 5 years.

I am going to check the soccer roster and look for a guy or girl named Ferguson.

Why would he want to sit the bench for another year after Brady Davis takes his job? #FreeFergoMan

Not necessarily.....This MEMPHIS is THE BEST job in college Football ?....Norvell is tapping into THE MOST fertile and resourceful recruiting grounds there are....And with our expectations....it's a NO-BRAINER to be here and see what winning can do for the LONG-HAUL....Norvell wants to be here as well....Unlike Fuente, whom made-out like a "Fat Rat" and hiding rations of cheese.....Norvell is in a position to retire a VERY wealthy man....make some dramatic impact on peoples lives.....and THIS IS WHERE HE WANTS TO BE!!!!

That's why he will have to petition the NCAA. Not a guarantee. But if he keeps academics in order, probably a decent chance on it being granted since he only played 3.

Doesn't matter if you only played 3...

Lets look at Pookie...Sat out his first year...Played 2nd year here...Sat out his 3rd year...Played his 4th year...Will play his 5th year...

So should a kid get a 6th year because he chose to transfer...He made that choice.

If you are going to grant waivers for only playing 3 years hell I know some guys right now who could help the tigers.

Doesn't matter what you or I think. The NCAA is doing it more frequently today than ever. They did away with the hardship transfer where you can play immediately, and replaced it with more leniency towards a 6th year on the back end. Happens regularly now. The argument is to increase degree-earners.
