The American Athletic Conference will be getting a big Raise on their next TV Deal and should put them around 10 to 12MM Per team...Still Far less than the other P5's but puts them at a solid P6 and seperates from the other G4's....Also Since Espm Owns the AAC they will tell them who to take from BYU and the MWC to assure the AAC Remains a Solid P6....Thus Making the other G4's have no choice but to create their own Playoff separate from the P6....#The World Is Ours Memphis....

Let's hope that it works out this way. Memphis, Cincinnati, UCONN & Houston are power conference worthy. Add in Boise & BYU with a few others & that's a strong confidence. Being able to go multi dimensional would help everyone also.

BYU, Boise, SD State, Air Force

Houston, SMU, Tulsa, Tulane

Cincinnati, Memphis, USF, UCF

Navy, Temple, UCONN, ECU

Some sort of an arrangement would have to be made to make Navy/AF a permanent crossover.
Iam not sure about that, espn might not want the AAC to do good
I want Amazon to take over and tell espn to go jump in a lake

ESPN will definitely try to keep the conference. Some of the states/markets are to valuable for them not to make a big effort. I personally would want Netflix to get in a bid, they are already in most homes and have shown a willingness to increase monthly fees slowly to make up budget($2 dollar hikes, and 4 room at a time update).

As for Divisional pods:

West/Pacific: BYU, Boise, SD State, Air Force

South/Plains: Houston, SMU, Tulsa, Tulane

North/Midwest: Cincinnati, Memphis, Temple, UConn

East/Atlantic: Navy, USF, UCF, ECU
A 10 to 12 million bump on pay would do wonders u of h
3 teams in the top 25 more that the conference is talked about, More PERCEPTION of our P6 Push is being further pushed on the public perception of us...Rating Continue to Climb and Climb...Apple TV which has 256 Billion in Liquid assets also wants more Live Sports programming as well as Amazon and Others..The Next AAC deal will be a Combo if Tier rights and Reports of 8-10 MM being thrown out and most are now beginning to feel 8- 12 MM Per team is coming on the next Deal, and the Streaming services such as Amazon, Others and Apple TV are gonna come aggressively...#Stay Tuned...
not one big 12 fan has posted on this thread lmao
Question.......

Why do you think B12 posters would bother much with a thread about the AAC?

Why wouldn't the future Big 12 leftovers not want to get to know their soon-to-be new conference???

Is there a link? The conference is worth at least $12M/school if the other P5s are getting $25M+.
The numbers are coming in at $32.6 million each....margin for error .000001%
This delusional fool Tigerscane is back.

While I hope the AAC does get 10-12 mil per school, the fact you made a thread about it most likely means it won't happen.
This thread should go back to where it started & belongs: the Big 12 board.

Mods please move.
TC does tend to be a way overoptimistic at times, but there are a lot of worse qualities folks can have.

Hmm, why did this get moved to smack? Not complaining, just wondering.

Because I have fat fingers and I meant to send to general talk. Hard to move things on a phone
