Toledo 2017 Basketball Recruit, Greg Calixte, a 6-foot-9, 230 pound Power Forward from Mount Vernon (NY) High School, is having a very good senior season after blowing up on the AAU Circuit last spring. According to a local reporter who covers Mount Vernon, Calixte has made a big leap this season and plays his best against strong competition. He is very strong and has great hands according to this reporter. He has offers from St. Bonaventure, Iona, UAB, UNC-Wilmington, Hofstra, LaSalle, BGSU and will most likely make a decision after the season. Having a legitimate Power Forward in a Mid Major league like the MAC gives that team a competitive advantage as proven this year with the strong play of "Mr. Double Double", Steve Taylor Jr.
