There's no poll. How can you discuss the firing of coaches without a poll?

Answer is simple: Karen (sorry to say, cause I like)

I want to see where we are next season with guys who, on paper, can shoot. If we aren't dancing by March 2018, it's time to look in a different direction.

Anyone know how long JJ is under contract?

While we're venting, I bought two Smartmouth beers in the Blue Room thinking they were the Saison and they were not. Maybe an IPA ... whatever the case and it was awful. Either way my real gripe was that they were 5$ each. Weren't all beers same price (2$) last year? I obviously don't attend enough games!

The Alter Ego is their Saison, white can. Rule G is their IPA, green can.

I normally go Cowcatcher when I drink Smartmouth, but I'm into darker brews

I love Smartmouth's saison, and O'Conner's Green Can. I hate IPAs. But if I'm really venting, I hate that people pay for beer in the blue room at all. It also sucks that the Big Blue Club is called dumb*** ODAF, even though it's funny that kids put the acronym "af" on the end of things these days, making it Old Dominion AF. It sucks that our new practice facility is not so great, our new football stadium is not impressive and our conference sucks too. Thats enough venting for now. :)

I'll vent. I very much dislike those "dank for the sake of being dank" farmhouse-style IPAs. I haven't come across too many in travels, but the few I encountered were not pleasant.

I wish you could buy stuff with monopoly money.

Speaking of parking, I wish those fans who are incapable of backing into a parking space would understand that it is then their consequential duty to wait for those of us who can.

(And, for the record, CamreamanJ, the Free Parking space is always seeded with a $500, plus all of the Community Chest and Chance fines.)

The issue is that it was served from a generic Smartmouth tap - no cans. The "flavor" may have been on the tap but I didn't see it.

if Shaka has another year or two like this one, he may be available...:-)...

Honestly, I am frustrated that they have done away with the coach's show and now they don't even take questions at the Big Blue Breakfast. Effectively, as a fan, I have zero chance to ask the coach anything about which I am curious. I was prepared to ask Jones today what he thinks about the NCAA's decision to start including metrics other than RPI (KenPom and the like) in the selection process and then specifically, if our staff uses any advanced statistics/analysis in game planning. Alas, Ted hogged the mic and there was no opportunity.

I'll add my vent. I'm not happy with the immediate drop-off in ODU coverage since Harry moved on to his new role. Ed is good, but he's nowhere near as prolific as Harry. Come on, Ed, time to step it up!!

I just hope this year we have another good quarterback in the bunch. Good quarterbacks make the game interesting to me. I like seeing the ball in the air and then being caught.
