1. It snowed, at one point the field was covered with snow/ice.
2. The depth chart stayed the same as it ended last year. For obvious reasons, there has been no games or practices for people to pass up others.
3. That being said, Skinner was with the ones, Morris was next followed by Devine.
4. Skinner really did not do anything spectacular. He made one nice pass. Morris looked very sluggish, looked like an athlete who was learning how to play QB, he did not look like a QB, just my opinion. Devine on the other hand, very solid looking guy physique wise, huge calves. Great arm, holds the ball up high when he goes back. We will not be disappointed if he is our QB. The ball snaps out of his hand when he throws the ball.
5. Practice was very intense, it was also very structured. The periods were different than in the past, I dont know if this was going to change regardless of us having a new coach or if it was something Coach Kueck had done.
6. Players were not allowed to set on the bench, if they were not involved in the drill then they were on the sideline.
7. Matt Morris looked good at receiver.
8. There were many times when Williams and Bradshaw were on the field at the same time. Of those times, Bradshaw was split out wide with Williams in the backfield.
9. First team on the offensive line Cook, Inman, Legursky, Baynes, and Barnes, that is from left to right. Bullock was not there, but he may have had class. I am not sure, but I dont think Elcess is on the team any longer.
10. Defensive starters included on the line, Thomas, Wright, Garrett, and Tinker. Linebackers were Thornton, Couch and Hopkins. DB's were Smith, Clark, Royal and Keyes. Keep in mind some players were not there for a variety of reasons.
11. Bradshaw looks quicker than ever. Chris Hawkins (transfer from UNC) looked good he was with the twos.
12. Like I said, it appeared that they basically came out the first day, took the end of the season depth chart, crossed out the seniors and bumped everyone else up, and ran with it.
13. Kueck conducts a very nice practice. At the end of practice everyone charged to the middle of the field, but it was not to his liking, he sent them back to do it again, which they did. They left the field pumped. A very good looking, sharp, crisp practice, with the only down thing being a bunch of dropped passes.
14. Fitzgerald also looked good at receiver, as did Lauzon.
