Will he ever treat his contractors properly?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/digg...f993749d33

I don't know why anyone would ever do business with him. Or ever make him President.
Wow! A thread by Shirley that isn't about trannys.
Tom, please refrain from posting WaPo. Bezos hates Trump, and brought in 20 extra staffers to dig up as much dirt as possible. If Lendlease is the one cutting checks, per the contract, they will work out payments with subs. Just because one get an invoice does not mean you pay it. Slapping up mechanic's liens is very common.
In hopes of collecting on his debts?

Hundreds of millions, much of it under personal guarantee:

“It is impossible to identify all the firms or individuals that now hold Trump businesses’ securitized debt, as these investments often don’t have to be disclosed.”

But hey, it's that left-wing Wall Street Journal so it must be fake news.

You make money in commercial real estate development, in the large scale projects, when you refinance or sell. Mom and pops are often not highly leveraged. A development LLC, as an example, might build a 250 Million dollar project with a wide range of investors. You don't get income from tenants until after the project is complete. If five years later you can refinance for 300 Million, and put 50 Million in your pocket. Lots of developers do that. Honestly the only bankruptcy stuff Trump had issues with was Atlantic City.
I think it was some time around Memorial Day last year that I reached the conclusion that the next US president would be a train wreck.

The people who nominated hilldawg are just as responsible as the Trumpsters.

Mechanics Liens, really. this is my industry guys. I have put mechanics liens on buildings multiple times for slow pay. It is normal. Contractors are submitting invoices that Lendlease is disputing.

Where did you see that the invoices are accurate compared to what is in the contract?

What is fake about it? Has Trump paid? Is he even disputing the charges?

Guys, call it fake only if you can point out something fake about it.

If the facts aren't in dispute, and neither Trump or his sub are disputing the facts....then there it is.

Can you please link where Trump is contractually obligated to pay the invoices in question.

Then I suppose you can just get your news from Russia Today or Gateway Pundit....

I'll stick with the professional journalists at the WaPo.

Undisclosed investors, who in 14 days will have the President of the United States right by the *****. Might explain why Goldman Sachs was the devil in August (with Lloyd Blankfein's face used in Trump ads as the devil) and now Goldman execs or their spouses are filling cabinet-level posts (most recently at the SEC). The vampire squid always wins.
