That second half was ugly. Lee put up a nice offensive stat line with 25 point 8 assists and 0 turnovers. Giving up 63 points in a half isn't going to cut it though.

At least we scored 85...

Quite aware. Trying to find any positive out of that game. AAD's right up sums it up pretty good. Our defense hasnt just been bad, its flat out awful. Most Drexel teams couldn't shoot 63% in an open gym, yet alone an actual game, which is what we just allowed to W&M. Comment was made on the W&M board that is also very true about defense, if you go all in on offense you are susceptible to easy baskets the other way. We crash so hard for offensive boards that makes everything for the other team transition lay ups when we don't come away with the offensive board. This along with the various items AAD mentions, makes for a disaster in the defensive half of the game. Without both offense and defense you are not going to win a lot of games, as we all are well aware of. Having the right players helps, but these are issues that will take time to figure out, and they won't happen this season and likely not next either.

I suppose this was retribution for getting pounded by a Freddie Wilson-led 6 man team in 2015. (Rodney played 40 minutes that day scoring 18 points.)

No this just means we will beat them at home. We split them in 2015 and last year we beat them at home too :).

Different style, different teams. Results from one season to the next mean nothing if the rosters, coaches, style, nearly everything are different. With this team defensively we are not beating W&M unless they are stuck in snow or both Dixon and Prewitt are out.
