Hmm, interesting.

I'm not confidant we are going to get the truth out of Assange about anything.

But that goes for any source on this subject.

Even if there was absolute proof that (insert bad actor) was responsible, there'd be partisans who wouldn't accept an evidentiary based conclusion. Some will always believe it was the Russians and some will always believe it was a Dem staffer.

The only one who actually knows says it was a bitter Democrat. And Assange is hardly a conservative himself.

The ones with something to gain claim it was Russians without even knowing. Now Assange could be making up the insider story, but he is the only one with real information.

With the Dems caught in so many lies and schemes from those wikileaked files and Obama running the show over those agencies claiming it was the Russians, it's really hard to believe what comes out from the DNC theories on hacking.Might be the Russians or might be blowing cover up smoke. Someday the real truth will come out. Trump won the votes of the majority of American states voters and that's a fact.

considering wikileaks impeccable track record ...
when has assange dissembled ...
I'll wait for your response ...

At this point I would trust Assange far more than I would trust anyone connected to the Obama regime. Thus far Assange has proven to be truthful, the Obama administration has proven they will lie at the drop of a hat.

Absolutely.

Do you trust Wikileaks or do you trust "you can keep your doctor/health insurance, it was a video, not a tax/tax/not a tax"?
But Muh Cold War!
I don't trust Assange's intentions or judgement one bit... But I've never known his words to be false..

I trust Assange miles more than I trust Obama.

So far, we've caught Assange in far fewer lies than we have Obama.

IMO Assange is what he says he is. He's someone who deeply hates government corruption and serves to expose it at every opportunity. Thus far his actions have proven him to be just that.

Me too. You have to go with his track record and he's been truthful all along unlike the Demon-cratic Party in most of it's dealings with the public. Say what you may about him he's way more truthful than any Demon-crat.
I don't trust Assange, but I can't imagine what he has to gain by saying that his information didn't come from the Russians or Russian government if there is ANY CHANCE IN HELL that someone could prove that it did.

I tend to believe it because to be proven, or even strongly indicated that he is lying would damage him immensely... while admitting that it came from a source associated with Russia does not in any way damage him.
I thought he lied about the Snowden leak?

Never heard that
Quote:Protect Whistleblowers: Often the best source of information about waste, fraud, and abuse in government is
an existing government employee committed to public integrity and willing to speak out. Such acts of courage
and patriotism, which can sometimes save lives and often save taxpayer dollars, should be encouraged rather
than stifled as they have been during the Bush administration. We need to empower federal employees as
watchdogs of wrongdoing and partners in performance. Barack Obama will strengthen whistleblower laws to
protect federal workers who expose waste, fraud, and abuse of authority in government. Obama will ensure that
federal agencies expedite the process for reviewing whistleblower claims and whistleblowers have full access to
courts and due process.
