I watched parts of 2 bowls, and one of those was because of my in-laws having rooting interests in OSU. Since every other bowl has been downgraded one level due to the new playoff structure, I can't find myself to have any interest in bowl season anymore. When the Rose, Orange, Fiesta and Sugar can be relegated to meaningless if not hosting a playoff game, then why bother watching?
Watched 5 of the 6 Sun Belt bowls live. Caught Cure Bowl on DVR the next day.

Miami
Bahamas
Hawaii
HoD
Armed Forces
Military Bowl
Orange
Cotton (current)
Rose (will be)

So 15.
1... My wife is an Ohio State alum so I had no choice.
At least part of most of them. You aren't a real college football fan if you don't try to watch as many games as possible.
I watched the Armed Forces, part of the Music City and the two semifinal games. I'll watch a couple today.
Watched a half or more of 14 games, flipping between Cotton, Outback and Winter Classic right now.

Seriously most college football games have no bearing on the playoff yet millions will still watch.

Guess I'm not a real CFB fan. If they're not really playing for anything, then what's the point? If your response is to watch "amateurs" or because of "college pageantry", then I don't get it. I don't see collegiality on the playing field - only semi-pro athletes. IMHO, college football programs no longer represent the universities like they may have in the past. CFB today is little more than semi-pro ball. An awful lot of people I know IRL feel the same.

+100%

I watched at least part of the the Quick Lane, Independence, Military, Pinstripe, Russell Athletic, Belk, Gator, Citrus, Sun, Orange, Sugar and Fiesta. I also watched parts of the bowls involving Navy, Memphis, and USF/SC (though I don't remember the names of those bowls). Today I've been checking on the two early bowls, but at some point I have to cut off the TV and do some work...

Watched most of Holiday Bowl.

Haven't caught more than 5-10 mins of any other Bowl game, including semi-final games.

Definitely won't be watching the "SoCon Championship II", hope most of America doesn't tune it either. Wish the championship game could be more representative of more parts of this great country ... but it is what it is.

Even if you had a 16 team playoff, you most likely would have ended up with the same two teams.

Who do you really think missed out on the playoff??

Who said they're not playing for anything??

Usually they are playing to win the game, it's not rocket science

I don't blame you. If I were a Big Slow fan I wouldn't want to see how far behind they are to the best in the country either.
I have seen all or part of every bowl game.

So why do people watch the 40% or so of NFL games that don't have any real bearing on the playoff?
I watched most of the Birmingham, Armed Forces, Sun, Bahamas, St Petersburg, and Peach.

Less than 25% - Cactus, Foster Farms, and Cotton. Hardly anything of the others or not at all.
Watch the Citrus Bowl and the CFP....the rest are just Exhibition Games....07-coffee3
I may have missed a couple of bowls (like the Hawaii one), but I have watched most of them, and great hunks of most of them.

College football is fun. I really like the sport. Bowl season means that it is almost over, and that sucks donkey balls. There has been some really great play this year. And on the whole, I am ahead of bookmaker.eu, although I am kicking myself for taking the Over and not Bama minus the points. A case of my heart deciding for my head. Clemson made up for it though.

I wish I could erase from my memory the Citrus Bowl. But unfortunately, I can not.
Partied during the CFP so I did not watch. Watched only a couple of bowl games that included the AAC (UCF, UH). Kinda glad about that since the AAC has not done well.
