I believe that was the biggest comeback in VT history. The biggest under Frank Beamer was 20 points.

Certain ACC teams - like VT but also Miami - tend to start slow and fall behind early. The coaching staff MUST fix that if they ever want to get to the playoffs.
FWIW, Clemson used to have that problem but seems to have it licked. FSU had that problem in 2014 and, ultimately, got blown out by Oregon in the playoffs.
Don't mean to rain on the parade, just pointing out there is definitely more work to do for next season.
