We should be playing our western AAC brothers and flip the east from Cincy, UCF and ECU to USF, Temple and UCONN. The nonconference will evidently be much tougher with four bowl teams.

Non Conference
OSU@
Louisiana (Lafeyette)@ (H)
New Mexico@ (H)
Toledo@

Probable AAC Games
USF@
UCONN
Temple@

Certain AAC Games
Houston@ (H)
Navy@ (H)
Memphis@ (H)
SMU
Tulane

(H) Probable home games

*TV will determine most of the dates and times later on.
@ Bowl teams form 2016

Observation - that would be 9 bowl teams on the schedule and 5 certain bowl teams at home with possibly more at home when the schedule is finalized.
One last thing if our schedule includes UCONN, Temple and USF is that all three of those teams will have new FB coaches and staffs. That would be an additional advantage for us especially with the new contract for Phillip Montgomery and his staff. So our program should be more stable in the third year under Monty and his quick hitting, explosive offense. But watching USF in their bowl win today over South Carolina was an impressive performance and they will be very formidable regardless where the game is played.

According to that above link, we will be playing 6 bowl teams at home - New Mexico, Louisiana, Houston, Memphis, Navy and defending AAC champion Temple. I'm not sure we've ever had a schedule with that many bowl teams playing in Tulsa. :)

Looks to be a favorable schedule for sure. Might be a special year if the right pieces fall into places.
