We played a terrible game and led wire to wire. It wasn't even close.

I'm putting all this here to sort of adhere to my own piss match tyranny around here. But ya know what? Who cares. Those little trolls haven't been around here in forever anyways. Good riddance. We shouldn't even let those dirty pirates back in Trask after that embarrassing performance.

I'd rather have Pfeiffer or Claflin as a rival.
Not one time in this game did they lead or demonstrate they could score away from the free throw line. Yet you still had losers chanting "Walk the Plank!" When Cacok fouled out. Their school and basketball program both suck a bag of d*cks, and if not for the fact that they were both supported by a bunch of losers who don't expect any better, they'd indeed be ashamed of their performance tonight.

Worthless, the lot of them.
I'd rather have a half ass part time color commentator from Claflin too.
I have to say I really don't have a problem with the school itself. I actually admire how they have bucked the UNC system to get what they wanted. The fans, overall, is what I have a problem with. Now, I do have friends and family who graduated from there who have never acted the way many of their fans have. And I'm sure most of the arsehole fans they have never attended school there. But I know of no other school's fans who rushed the opposing school's field, after beating them, and tearing down their goal posts.
On the other hand, it's nice to have some kind of love-hate rivalry with another program. I'm hoping it will transfer to C of C and maybe even Elon. But I don't know if beating them will ever take the place of the joy I feel when beating EZU. Nor the agony of defeat.

Its hard to not respect CoC knowing their history. Elon is like the conference version of Campbell, its nice they're close but ehhhh

Elon would have been very dangerous this year had that phenomenal rookie they had a few years ago stuck around. Elijah Bryant I think his name was?

Im sure there will be years where they are good. But I just do not see them ever being a school UNCW fans get excited for.

We respect CoC and like to play them and ECU always draws a big crowd. Other than that we don't have any schools that are regular opponents that motivate the fan base.

I would love to play Charlotte or Davidson regularly as I think that game would be a big draw and increase the excitement factor but that does not seem to be a possibility for whatever reason
Elon is a scrappy bunch that has quietly had a good non-conference record since they entered the league. I have no issues with them. Plus they have a strong baseball tradition so that helps.

Once they get that new basketball arena they'll be fine. And certainly they will not just be a Campbell.
20-2 Vs another below .500 year in progress!

From a quality prospective perhaps but from a rivalry prospective they are exactly like Campbell. A close d1 school nothing more
jmu goes to armpit county & knocks off ezu. Well done jmu!

It's a shame those dumb as rocks students/alumni from greenville couldn't figure out they're allowed to come in here and talk smack. Instead I had to ban them. Sure would be fun to listen to them crying this morning and they're only response to be "weeeeell you don't have a fooooooooootball team."

It speaks volumes about the state of ECU's program that JMU's fans are kind of "ho hum" on their board, and not even treating this W like an upset. They EXPECTED to win.

Obviously, part of that confidence comes from winning last year's FCS title, but it also shows how sh*tty ECU is at the one sport they care about in that sh*tty town.

It is easy to be ho hum when you are indeed favored by vegas. Not often an FCS team is actually favored on the road against an FBS team. Sad state of affairs for ECU indeed.
Good point Dan!

I also read on the JMU board that fans who attended heard ECU fans complaining about "CAA refs" working the game. CAA refs literally don't even exist in football, lol.

Maybe not, but if they want our basketball refs they can have them, we can certainly get a new bunch for the CAA and be happier, possibly.

There's an idea. Sometimes I think the CAA refs are worthy of nothing better than an ezu game.
Quite often CAA basketball refs are not fit for middle school games.

This is homecoming weekend in Greenville. There's an emergency meeting of the trustees taking place now.

Seriously.
They are probably going to call for the tar & feathering of the person who first suggested they get rid of Ruffin.
