Great Game EMU!!! Tense moments in this one.
Great game guys. You've got a well coached team and some great players. You should be proud of this team and the progress you've made. We're rooting for you in the future. Good luck.
Nothing to hang our heads over. I'm proud. *This* close after 29 years. Watch out, MAC west.
Good game guys, best of luck next year and going forward.
Have to give a lot of credit to the team for their effort in this game and for this season. We were competitive against a 10 win team and had we made a couple of plays on either side we might have just won this. At least this wasn't like the CMU bowl game where they got blown out. End of the game we just got worn out and that ODU running back as we saw last year is very, very good.

Bottom line though this team is still learning how to win and that's indiciative of a team that finishes 7-6. Hopefully we continue to improve and learn from these types of games so next year we can continue to build and get to another bowl game next year.

Hold your heads up everyone! We ended our bowl drought and played a very respectable game. I call this season a success as we also ended up with a winning season at 7-6 despite this.
Beyond sad right now
I'm excited for next season. Losing POC and a bunch of guys on the O-Line hurts, but with the talent we have returning, we should be right back in a bowl game. Getting Vann back will be huge as well. Adding a "home run" dimension to our running game that we didn't necessarily have this year.
Good game guys. Made me very nervous the whole second half

So impressed with how your team has improved in such a short period of time. You guys were TERRIFIC on 3rd downs, and in any other game I'd be pulling for you guys.

All three games were competitive, and our fortunes have together improved over that time. I certainly hope to see you guys on the schedule in the near future.

Have a safe and joyous Christmas and New Year.

Almost everyone that touches the ball will be back. Add in Vann and the offense should be ok as long as the OL comes together. Roback could be the top QB in the MAC.

The defense needs to plug a few holes but the depth seems to be there for that.

Charlotte at home then @ Rutgers, @ Kentucky, and @ Army. Win 2 or 3 of those. In the MAC we'll see WMU, BSU at home and play at NIU, CMU, and UT. Who will we get from the East? We're due to see buffalo again. Maybe BG at home? Akron?

Let's go bowling again! Hell, let's get to Detroit.
There was around 250 at bw3s watching the game a great turnout!
I watched the game at a friend's home and there was constant chatter, so I didn't hear the broadcast very well. Here are some things I noticed.

- OL had trouble with the pass rush. That was rather obvious.
- Roeback did fairly well, especially considering he was under fire most of the time. Int really hurt.
- D was worn out by the end. Did you notice the OD bench was in the shade?
- Didn't see Nigel Kilby. We could have used him especially those times inside the ten.
- Not sure I saw Ike Spearman.
- Their punt that stopped at our one in the first half was huge.
- Wasted valuable seconds at the end of the first half and blew one timeout in the second that we might have used.

Very good season, but this game was disappointing because it was winnable.
Best of luck in the future! Y'all might be fighting it out with WMU for the MAC title before too long.

Very good season, but this game was disappointing because it was winnable.

Huge ODU advantage for their players and fans. EMU players and fans roasted in the sun.

The way the stadium is constructed one side is full fun and the other had a lot of shade.

The stands have a significant roofs and as the day went on I believe the fun was below the ODU stands.
BTW, the stats were completely dominated by non-seniors.
Didn't see Antoine Porter, either.

I think my post makes more sense if one replaces fun with sun!!!

Typing on a tablet isn't my idea of fun....
Looks like MAC very likely to go winless this bowl season.

If Wisconsin comes ready to play, WMU likely to get manhandled, to complete the sweep.

Good observation.
We blew this game with horrendous playcalling in short-yardage situations. Great year overall, but this one stings. Looking forward to a new OC.
