To me this is much bigger than playing a football game. This is about supporting due process for all citizens. The circumstances in which those players were suspended are suspect, to say the least.

I'm a fan of schools having their own disciplinary system in addition to the criminal system. I think there are situations that can occur where something isn't illegal but bad things happen at a school. Having said that, the football players appear to be royally screwed by the university based on what I've read. It's a shame if this continues to escalate.
