Thought I would bring something positive to this board. There are to many negative posts up here. I commend both of these gentlemen. We really need more of this.

So only one person got charged but according to McGraw, they were both wrong?

That's odd.
"You know what you did, and I know what I did. I'm not going to say you were wrong or I'm wrong," McGraw told Jones, according to CNN affiliate WRAL.

This is reconciliation according to you?
According to WRAL, McGraw pleaded no contest to assault and disorderly conduct charges, and has been given a suspended 30-day jail sentence and a year on unsupervised probation

So he literally got nothing?

Yea I don't understand that logic either, but at least he did apologize.

Yes. You are correct. He did apologize and for that, I am glad. He didn't exactly take responsibility for his actions however.

Well he is a 79 year old, living in a camper in Linden. An active sentence would be too much for the offense and again he is 79. A heavy fine would be difficult to collect and would be a heck of a hardship. He lives in a camper. Maybe supervised rather than unsupervised probation but what exactly would it accomplish?

The deputies that failed to act properly got demoted. That is probably more important than any punishment to the old man.

Eh, better than nothing I guess. If corps can do it I guess people can as well.
