Greetings Tiger fans. Haven't posted much since B12 expansion talks ended.

Was listening to Bruce Feldman & Stewart Mandel on The Audible podcast yesterday. Memphis and Coach Norvell came up in a discussion of best early bowl games.

Feldman then said he had bumped into Norvell recently, said how well Riley Ferguson played this year, and our offense should be very good again next year.

Then he said Norvell told him Memphis had a chance to play 6 teams this year who had won 10 games or more. So I looked it up - Temple, USF & Western KY have 10 wins. Navy, Tulsa and Houston have 9 wins with a chance to get to 10 with a bowl game win. Thought you guys might find this interesting.

Yes, that is interesting. They played some good in conference trams for sure.

I also liked the fact also that we were in every game they played this year. Only the Tulsa game seemed out of reasonable reach although the team kept fighting to catch up.
And the list doesn't include Ole Miss, which was ranked #8 in the AP preseason poll and won only 5 games.
PLAY THE TOUGHEST OOC GAMES WE POSSIBLY CAN

We got to within 3 before we started turning it over in the Tulsa game.

True, we were actually in the game going into the 4th qtr
But our schedule is not considered strong...Just really weird to me.

Yeah. As strong as our conference was this year, and we all beat up on each other - we didn't seem to get that SEC effect in the rankings. Funny how that works.
