ALL HAIL ARMY!!

You will have a place in this new order, my son.
The thing about being in a conference is that each game counts in the overall championship race.

7-5 is impressive but not quite the summit of Everest.

Sweet! I actually had to root army because my cousin is a plebe at west point this year.

I had never seen him work harder to achieve something like he did trying to get into west point. Very proud to call him my cousin.

7 & 5 may not be the summit of Everest but it is damn close after the frustrating seasons that Army has suffered through in recent years. It was a great season for the cadets capped with a win over Navy. Congratulations ARMY.

By the way if memory serves me right Temple has seen the same years of futility in its not so distant past. Things were so bleak at one point the school was kicked out of the Big East and football came with in a thread of being moved back to D1AA if not canceled all together. Don't attempt to slight one's success when you have been on the same path yourself and even might have been a worse train wreak yourself.

By the way I root for Temple too and attend games with family who graduated from there and friends who played there. Army and their fans should be congratulated for their success this year not slighted sarcastically. There are many on this board who often wish outright that Army would join the AAC. 04-cheers
I for one welcome our new Army overlords.

If Navy is fine with them in the conference, they should be in the conference.

It was a gut punch for Will Worth to get taken out for the last couple games. With him, they are a NY6 team.
Fantastic player.
HOOD, Westhoff, our guest bronie -- this place is a regular USMA '20 Family Club

Im part of a family? Im so happy!
Be nice to have them in "The American". Maybe in time with Air Force.
Army has their schedule filled out until 2023. I have a feeling Army could do a scheduling agreement with Conference USA or The American. At the end of the day, Army can maintain independence rather easily.
Join up! Would be awesome to have Army and Navy in the same conference!

They were in CUSA and got tired of being abused so they opted to go Indy!

It would be awesome to snag both of them.

Could be. This isn't something that has to be done immediately.

So could Navy and Air Force. Doesn't mean they would willingly choose that option, if more appealing/lucrative options exist. I have a feeling Army-football wants to be all it can be.
Harmon, you earned this one. Enjoy it. 04-cheers

Army schedules a lot of CUSA Texas teams; at least 2 AAC teams including Navy, Tulane, and rotates Temple in and out; 2 D1-AA teams a year; 2 to 3 MAC teams a year; flips between Duke and Wake Forest in the ACC; and plays at least one P5 team. Heck they even have a home and home scheduled with Oklahoma. Throw in UMASS as a regular while they remain an independent and yes your right Army could easily remain an independent for the foreseeable future and that is what they to appear to want at this time. The Army / Navy game is their built in bowl game if they do not have enough success in a given year to make it to a post season bowl. Hopefully though they have turned the corner this year with the current coach and their current scheduling practices to get to regular winning seasons and bowls again. 04-cheers

Now all the service academies are winning games? Maybe they take another chance especially if all 3 are added.
