Well, I'm off to that "other" game first thing in the morning. Kinda feel like I'm committing adultery or something by missing the Rebels in Nashville, but it did feel good buying "goodies" today for the tailgate party and loading up the car this evening, even if it isn't a Rebel game. It's that time again, my favorite time of the year.
Just wanted to wish all those making the trip to Nashvegas a safe journey and a big Rebel victory to bring back!!
Saturday is the day we've been waiting for and talking about all winter, spring, and summer. Can't believe it's here, although it seemed like an eternity just to get to this point.
Is this the year of the Rebels? God, I hope so. One by one, one Saturday at a time(and of course one Thursday

I just realized two things:
1) Ole Miss's home season starts very soon.
2) Jackson Avenue is still torn to hell and back.
This should make for interesting gameday traffic. Moreso. Thank God I live on the other side of the campus from all that mess.
You're kidding! I thought road work stretched out over a decade only took place in Arkansas. I just got in from I40 west of here, and was delayed an hour, over a 160-mile stretch. Been going on for years.
I hate it when I'm cursing four minutes into the game. Thank God we FINALLY stopped them and thank God for Kelvin Robinson... But I HATE IT when we have the guy wrapped up in the backfield and let him get loose for 13 yards!

Well, the first half was about as pathetic a performance as I have seen. Vanderbilt has stuffed our offense, and our defense is just horrible. We have no defense against the run. We still don't get the thing about tackling people, just as Mrs. Parker pointed out.
And then, how about that gutsy coaching call to kick the FG instead of going for the TD. And why did we run off so much time on that last series.
We are really going to intimidate some people this year.
