#17 WMU 26
Ohio 20

Ohio is threatening to score with 7 mins left in the game.
Seems every time the MAC or CUSA has an undefeated team about to make a splash into the BCS or now the Access Bowl they lose and as a result loses the conference a lot of money. 7 minutes left and Ohio is down by only 3...
Gotta love those conference championships, eh?
This might not be good for WMU even if they win a tight game. Navy nipping at their heels
Yeah, it may not be enough. They needed to throttle them, and that wasn't happening.
13-0

If that's not enough then the whole system is a sham.

WMU played so tight, and Ohio's senior QB had the best game of his life until the bad read at the end.

If we get a Troy/Ohio DG bowl that should be a good one.

Troy would eat them up if they played like they did against App. Their RB would have eleventybillion yards.
Last time we played a 8win Ohio team in a bowl we beat them 48-21

Agreed, 13-0 with two wins over B1G teams, I don't care who they were, that still is getting it done every week. Only one other team has done that this season.

If there was ever a season for a G5 team to get in, this was it.

They aren't a top 4 team, but they're the team who should be in the G5 Access slot, no doubt about it.

Yep. If that don't get it done they whole thing is a joke.

When they blistered Toledo, it got my respect.
If an undefeated, highly ranked SEC team loses to an unranked SEC team, it is "a testament to how good the SEC is top to bottom." When a G5 ranked program loses to another unranked G5 in their own conference, it "just shows that they haven't been tested all season because they haven't played anybody." 03-banghead
How did we beat Ohio???

It poured and in the 30's the whole UT-WMU game. Rockets are such a passing team now it's hard to throw downfield in really poor conditions. One of the reasons I'm hoping for the Miami Beach Bowl with it's retractable roof.

We peaked week one . . . .

I'm sure that Ohio today is asking: "How the hell did we lose to TXST?"

Well give us the blueprint on how... we may need it

I watched our Ohio game on TV . . .

. . . was in the stands with a record low turn out when y'all rolled over us . .

No worries . . . I don't see y'all having much trouble with O-Hio

Though I would acknowledge that they're getting better play from their QB than when we faced them . .

No way you could put them in with the SOS. Now if those Big Ten wins were better teams, like Wisconsin, then yes they should go. But when your best win is a one point win over a 6-6 Northwestern it just isn't good enough to beat out a team like Washington.
