Wondering what if anything the school is going to do to push ticket sales. Anything???
They've known since we went 6-6 we'd play somewhere, hope they've got a plan.
I would think for this bowl game, given it's location, ticket sales is far more important than fannies in seats.
Will the school announce something similar to the WKU idea of buying a ticket then donating it? Better get moving. Time is short
That's more or less what I'm waiting for. I am happy to buy a ticket to support the cause and score some ODAF points. I either want some form of keepsake ticket or the actual hard ticket to the game though.

Yes, thank you very much. I'd love to go, but the out of CONUS trip just pushed it out of the current budget. Happy to buy a ticket though to support!

But will that be donated a local guy/gal who wants to be at the game? or is this only for the ones who are going to make the trip? Either way if i can make a donation and get a ticket replica for the ones i purchased and the tickets be donated to a local person who will be at the game then that's what i want for this Christmas.

I'm not saying it is a bad idea, but a 20.00 t-shirt and a 30.00 ticket isn't going to make someone who isn't going to drop $1000.00 on a trip change their mind. The people that can afford to go, both financially and in taking time off work, will go. No promo is going to change that.
We got the bowl game no one but the players wants to go to, which honestly isn't a bad consolation prize. We are paying our dues as the new guys to the FBS, I'm ok with that.

It's for any ticket purchased for any usage. Donated, used, framed, etc.

Heres the latest. Seems they don't want us to buy tickets, but instead contribute to the "bowl fund". Basically contribute $100 (cost of two tickets) and you get a commemorative ticket. I think they may be over-playing their hand here. 1 commemorative ticket for 1 actual ticket purchased and not used is fair.

Missed opportunity. Many were ready to spend $50; a lot will opt not to spend $100. They already chose a bowl we can't get to, but now they want to squeeze an extra $50 from their loyal fans.
