we may be bowl eligible, but certainly NOT bowl worthy! We should be embarrassed!

On the other hand, I'm old enough to remember ALL OF THOSE YEARS the Chippewas deserved a bowl game but was left out. Including the one year with Hogeboom in which they finished undefeated and stayed home.

Unless I live to be 90, the number of times a deserving CMU didn't reach a bowl will exceed those they played in and were undeserving.

I remember those years as well Okie, but still, meh.

I still remember the LCP Bowl with Enos and Co. We were playing WKU and I think CMU was 6-6 at that time too and backed into a bowl. I would have bet everything I owned, if I could, that CMU was going to lose that bowl game. I didn't see any way that CMU could win. Drove through a nasty blizzard on the way home from Ford Field that night but was very surprised that CMU won (and glad I didn't mortgage my house on the game).

So you never know. Tulsa may underestimate CMU and CMU might play like they did against OSU if motivated enough.
