Tough to play on the home court of an inState team, that is much improved, has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Winning this game would have made their season. This is why the Chickenhawgs won't play inState teams, even on their home floor. Tonight was a squeaker, but not as close as when UABP missed a lay-up at the buzzer that would have beaten a Wimp Sanderson coached team. I think we won that one in OT, as well, or it may have been a one point win.

UCA is much improved, but we'll beat them by 15-20 in Little Rock.

UTA's win tonight was great for the league. What's scary is Hervey is just getting back into shape after last season's knee injury.

A tremendous college basketball game last night! UCA has come a long way in recovering from the disastrous Corliss Williamson era. Reminds me a lot of how Porter Moser got Little Rock headed back in the right direction after we hired a former Chickenhawg who didn't know how to coach college basketball.

But I disagree with you that we had nothing to gain from this, if that is what you meant, even if we had lost. Playing another D-1 school located just 30 miles down the road is really good for everybody, especially the fans as last night showed. The fact that UCA is on the rise and competitive in this series, and indeed in their own conference, only helps.

No, I think having another instate rivalry is great for everyone. Driving to Conway is almost like a home game. Last night's game was a big step in making this a "real" rivalry- and we didn't even have to lose- going to overtime was close enough.
