Takes a lot of pressure of the entire team when you have a great kicker. Also prevents huge plays in terms of kickoff returns when he boots it out of the end zone consistently.

The great ones make it look like anyone could go out there and do it.
Was standing next to Jake in the 4th quarter today - Nothing but intensity and focus. Something else too - when the kid hits it, the ground shakes.

Should be making a ton of money very soon!

What a great Tiger!
198/198 PAT's
Has there ever been another kicker to go perfect in his career with that many attempts?
GoaT

04-bow
During mid-season, I thought it would be difficult for him to reach 200 for 200 on the XP as our offense was not putting up the number of TD's that would be required to get there, we were entering the toughest part of our conference schedule, and since it appeared we wouldnt have the additional CCG on the schedule to pad some additional TD's with. But our offense has put up some TD's in the past 4 games. Now he's just 2 away.
He should totally make it with a bowl game. Pretty unreal!!
He won't get the record unfortunately, that's held by Alex Trlica with 233 work no misses
Memphis is a perfect place to develop kickers, kicking in L.B. is great trainin is difficult with the winds coming from the river. In other words if u can make it there, u can make it anywhere
Nice.

It isn't the river that makes the Liberty Bowl such a difficult place to kick.
Nope the wind blowingup or down, wherever the wind may blow
Exactly.
Sadly did not make the finalist for the Groza award. Weird we had two really great kickers and neither won it. Yet the one we had that did win was no where near as good as those two.

We have a pretty good one coming in next year.
There are a bunch of bad kickers in the NFL

They set a record for missed PATs last week

I know it's 15 yards longer now , but still
Hmm. Were the three finalists more deserving kickers this season?
