Anyone else heading to Palo Alto for the game? We (me + 4) are flying up from San Diego in the morning. Considering going to Strike Brewing in San Jose tomorrow (Rice swimmer Jenny Lewis '05 is CEO).

Hope to see everyone at the tailgate on Saturday.

Luke
I'm a local and will attend the tailgate and game. Let me know when you'll be at Strike and I'll come over to join you.

Had no idea that a Rice alum ran a brewery in San Jose. I'll definitely be checking it out when I'm there next. Thanks for the info.
No MOB, but this
RU and family will be in attendance. Hambone will not (sadly)
We are aiming to be at Strike around 4
Judging how slow my group is moving, probably closer to 5 is accurate.

Sorry. We had to jet around 545p. I was informed that we had dinner plans by someone in my party 5 minutes before we had to leave. I know Kirkwood is there.

I owe you a 6 pack of your favorite beer.
Just hope we can come close to covering tomorrow.

Hope it doesn't end up like this. 03-nutkick

Between this seasons ghastly performances and it being year 10, my interest level has dropped so much. A few years ago, I flew back from SE Asia for a Rice game, stayed that night and flew out again elsewhere. These days, even the thought is laughable.
Rice football fans might want to switch their interest to men's hoops. It might be worth your while to do so.

I really thought about making the trip to Stanford. Enjoy the area, would like to see some friends like Almadenmike... but I just don't think I could stand to go to the game. Prove me wrong, Owls. But I don't expect that.

Nice to see that some media are correctly reporting the motivation for the Baylor half-time show.

I was trying to remember when the last time that men's basketball had more wins at a point in November than the football team. Turns out it was five years ago, when the basketball Owls were 5-2 at the end of November, while the football team was 4-8.

Sorry we were so tardy and missed you. It was great to see Kirkwood again. Looking forward to connecting a the tailgate.
Weather.com predicts today's weather will be -- sigh -- cool and rainy/showery wet, creating rainy-game bookends to the Bailiff decade:

The tailgate will be under tents, so alumni/fan pre-game fun, food and beverages should be fine.
