Great Name
Watched the game replay on youtube. Davidson was playing without their best player, so it wasn't much of a test. Still, defense was really good. Davidson didn't make a field goal in the 1st quarter. UT was up by 45 before switching to a zone D at the end of the game which allowed Davidson to finally score some points. Again, lots to like and lots to work on. UT was out-rebounded which is a concern. Also, although statistically, shooting wasn't that bad, the Rockets missed several bunnies and other open jumpers. Free throw shooting was abysmal again.
UCLA will be a huge yardstick as to where this team really stands at this point. They are a very big team, but still run a fast paced up-tempo offense. Will be an interesting test. Wish it didn't overlap with the football game.
