He wasn't able to get a visa to go to Bahamas and Coach Jones says he is not good enough to play any way.

Are you sure he didn't say something more like he's not well enough yet, or he's not in game shape yet due to a physical setback.

Are you sure he didn't say something more like he's not well enough yet, or he's not in game shape yet due to a physical setback.

It has nothing to do with injury. I asked Coach if he was another Payton Pervier and he said at least Kah is a good person.

Thanks for the information. Hopefully, Kah will get into shape, get a passport or get healed so we can see how good he can be. A 6'9" guy who can shoot from the wing, would give us an interesting dimension

The real story on Kah.....He is a very talented 6ft 9 forward who can play his ass off. The problem lies in the fact he has never played on a structured team. Meaning he has never run plays on offense and little defense. He is not yet ready to mesh with everyone else on the team..he has to think and then react while everyone else reacts.. His time will come. When depends on how fast a learner he is...but..the kid can play!!!!

That sounds plausable. He is such an offensive weapon that would be a huge boost if he can pick it up.

Which is super unfortunate he couldn't get his VISA stuff straight. He's really behind due to that now. Summer and a early season tourney he's missed.

Unfortunately he's a JUCO player with a very short career span at ODU. He needs to be game ready now, not at some point down the road.

That's why we need to start recruiting freshman big men and stop relying on juco's and transfers.

Is it possible that he could red shirt this season while getting the system down pat, and still have 2 years to play starting with next season? Sounds like it would be a waste to just have a skilled big man sitting on the bench that only had 2 years to play.
