All the AAC team playing today won except one. And most of the victories were lopsided.
USF got worked by FAU. Ouch

Antigua needs to go.
Another blowout win for the Coogs. We may have something here.
Tulsa 74 Oregon State 63 (in Tulsa).

We lost our first game at home to Jacksonville State! We were horrible in first 2 games & really improved in game 3 & 4 wins. Getting Jaleel Wheeler on the court did help. Oregon State isn't very good this season, but a PAC 12 win is still good for our young team.

Tulsa may still end up in the bottom half of the AAC this season, but we've had amazing improvement in our first 4 games.
Houston and UCF definitely seem to be strong and SMU and Cincy appear to be solid as well. Memphis has won its games it should so far and the next two games vs Providence and Iowa/Virginia will tell us a bit more about us. These five teams seem to be the top 5 for AAC so far in the young season that I have seen.
Im long coog high this year

I think youre for real

Ill be happy if tulsa finishes over 500 for the year
Houston looks to be steadily improving under Sampson, Memphis looks back to form, and UCF could be a dark horse in conference. SMU and Cincy games have gone about how you'd expect. Really the only disappointment/surprise is UConn. I think they'll be playing better by conference but its going to hurt the conference perception if they can't manage to steal some quality wins during their non-conference slate.

For perspective, FAU has lost to Texas State, Hawaii & SIU Edwardsville. Its lone win (prior to tonight) was vs. NAIA Edward Waters. https://twitter.com/USFMBB/status/801243748235706369

Antigua never really should have survived his offseason controversy.

Antigua never really should have survived his offseason controversy.

Most likely the only reason he survived this off season with the latest coaching/recruiting scandal involving his staff (including his brother) is that the scandal broke so close to the start of the semester (Summer Semester was going on...Fall Semester started 2-4 weeks later)...as the pool of eligible and GOOD candidates would have been small, very small vs a bigger pool come this March.
Luckily for Orlando he does get to face Lebo twice LOL

ECU will win both. FAU is a terrible team this year even by C-usa standards.

USF looked terrible last year too and then stomped out ECU 2 of 3 games.

We are horrible. We might get better once McMurray and Mendelson are eligible. But really I don't see us winning more than 6-7. Problem is we still paying for Heath and Antigua has two more years in contract after this one so I see us riding this train for at least two more years. Don't expect anything from USF basketball..
