The MW is the backup for this bowl.
If Az beats ASU, the Pac will only have 6 bowl teams leaving the Cactus open for the MW.
OR
If TCU beats Texas the Big 12 will have only 6 bowl teams leaving the MW to backfill.
Or if Texas beats TCU and then TCU loses to Kansas St.
