Was down 49-25 at half as the ladies were overwhelmed by the big, experienced Belmont team. Turned things around in the second half. Got it as close as 8 pts before they had to start fouling - too little, too late, though...

UAB looked completely LOST for most of the 1st half. Overwhelmed is one way to put it. Unprepared may be another. We were not getting good looks at the basket, taking BAD shots, NOT rebounding, playing out of position, etc. Kuzmanic was especially off; her shots which normally are dead-on from 3 pt range, were missing badly.

They did play better in the 2nd half, but had dug themselves a HUGE hole. If they were to have hit more free throes, they would have had a chance. They were pathetic at the line...

This is one of those tapes you burn and vow to never play that poorly again.
