I was in row 11 behind the UC bench last night.

The entire 3rd and 4th quarter, Nippert was nearly silent between plays and during the QB cadence.

I used these opportunities to shout "Tuberville, December 8th, December 8th, Tuberville, December 8th!!!" at least a hundred times. I was on it especially hard when he took his headphones off.

I realize that this is fruitless, unproductive, juvenile behavior. But it makes me feel good.

And the players enjoy it. That quick look back to find the source of the insults (me), accompanied by a huge, toothy grin from inside the helmet, makes it all worthwhile.

The thundering booing every time a Tuberville commercial was run on the scoreboard was unbelievable. I'm 52 years old and I've never seen a public shaming like that.
