"Former Toledo-area high school standout, Nate Holley, has been suspended indefinitely effective immediately following an arrest for felony kidnapping.

Holley, a senior, currently leads the Mid-American Conference with 111 tackles in just nine games and was a first-team all-MAC selection the last two seasons."

Wow. So maybe there was a good reason our coaching staff did not pursue the Holley twins.

Still waiting for it to happen. 03-wink
Well, I guess that evens them and WMU up a little bit...
That's one hell of a first criminal charge.
Lots of men (and some women) struggle with self control and good decision making in relationships and breakups. I don't know the details here, but estranged boyfriends trying establish physical control over an ex is far too common and it can quickly get dangerous. Hope this case is less serious than it sounds and will reserve further judgement until facts are more in the open.

TWSS!
Hope it turns out well for both parties and that he did nothing to harm the victim - which I assume is the case unless more charges are forthcoming.
What a way to mess up your young life. No chick is worth going to jail for.
Thinking Zach Terrell was in favor of Holley wearing a GPS device

some are worth going to jail to protect, not to kidnap

and he has to wear BG colors too as an additional punishment.
I want to hear the details on this one. If this is a case of some ex-girlfriend and her crazy parents, I would feel really bad for the young man. I don't know, he had a future in the NFL, I just don't get this.

His brother is tearing it up at QB right now against the undefeated WMU Broncos on ESPN 2.

If this is the story of a scary, abusive guy who would do anything rather than lose control of a woman who no longer wants him, then I feel really bad for the young woman.

That seems to encourage this behavior. At least when it's a coach wearing the colors.
