does he already have his own thread? if not, he needs one.

WOW. this kid can really, really play. i'm incredibly impressed with him. super calm, accurate, can improvise when a play breaks down, trusts his WRs to go up and make plays. what an incredible season he's having.
His own thread. Amen! 8-1 baby
CAA POtY
Really doing a great job... runs tough too
The griff jersey has new life!!!
Lauhletta was preseason pick, & he's very good; but Schor is such a calm clutch player that he should be POTY. As great as Vad was, I have complete confidence in Schor now. He plays mistake free & smart
And we have him for another year!
Early on, he threw a terrible deep ball. He's improved on that a lot. Plus, he is actually a threat in the zone read. Sometimes I think he has a weak arm and then he zings one on a rope to Alls or Klusterman or whoever and you can see he has a strong arm. Really happy with his play. He's a really good QB.
I actually think he's better than Vad. No joke.

Less explosive, more controlled and accurate. I like it.
Mr. Schor just completed 78% of his passes today. Add that to his already FCS leading 71% completion rate. Yeah... he's ok 03-wink

Glad you posted this...was thinking of doing the same myself. He's had one bad game this year...other than that has been terrific all season and keeps getting better! Believe he wasn't feeling well in the one stinker. He's the single biggest reason this team is good and its most indispensable player. He's improved his athleticism, looks bigger and stronger and has become a leader. The one thing that concerns me, however, is the number of hits he's taking. I'd run him less, if possible. The other player that's emerged in season is Terrance Alls. He looks like the team's top receiver now and is super athletic. Good defenses are taking away the run and having a passing game is incredibly important to this team's success going forward.

I still don't love this defense, but it's better than a year ago. Taylor Reynolds still doesn't seem to know how to play the ball when he defends the ball in the air. Ankara flashed today, as did the UVA transfer on the line.
I wouldn't say he's better than Vad, but he's really good and Houston is much better than Withers. Our line and our runningbacks have obviously been great, and our receivers seem to make a lot of really great catches for Schor... Give them anything that's at all catchable and it seems like they're almost always coming down with it.

I was afraid Vad to Schor would be a much, much bigger drop off than it is and that the team might have a pretty big drop off from last year because of it. This team is better than last year. Hopefully we can avoid any significant injuries.
If he can take care of business next week against nova, he'll lock up the CAA offensive player of the year.
He's better than Vad in that he is more consistent. He also make better decisions.

That being said, he has far better talent than Vad did when he got here in 2014.
He's the complete package. I don't just mean passing and running. He's a class act. You never seeing him ham it up. He just goes in there and takes care of business. He says the right things and is a perfect leader.
He's not just a leader on game day, but during the week. He's constantly watching film and putting in the time so he'll be ready to go.
I am a huge fan of what he's been doing. The crazy part is I think he can get even better.
Schor's stats
Passing
18 TDs 3 INTs 1918 Yards 72%

Rushing
9 TDs 525 Yards

I don't believe he has fumbled but I could be wrong. These are stellar stats. He does not make mistakes and has made the O line look even better with his elusiveness.
One lost fumble in the UNH game last week.

Maine game wasn't great, but if that's the worst we ever see out of Schor, we've got ourselves a great one.

One interesting thing...you kind of wondered what Withers thought of him as a QB...never overly complimentary, seemed to simplify the offense when he was in there I heard him say stuff like, "he thinks too much". Under Houston, Schor seems so comfortable in the offense. Makes great decisions. His improv skills have been extraordinary, and only when he needs to improv. Comfortable and fluid. Makes me wonder about Withers. I for one am so happy Schor has been able to flourish under a new regime
I agree with this thread. Schor has completed surprised me with his game this year. He may not have the natural talent that VL had, but he makes up for it with his smarts and poise. The guy is just a flat out winner.

Unfortunately, our pass D is so bad that his stats are not even as good as the opponents' QB each game, as we keep getting scorched for 400-500 passing yards a game. Pretty sure Lauletta put up 425 and 5 TDs. I know about 80 and 1 TD were in garbage time, but still, the pass D has got to get their ish together. It's unfair to expect Schor to be able to do this throughout the playoffs agains all the top teams in the country.

Back on topic though, so glad Schor is just a junior!
I have talked with Bryan several times on twitter and met him during the " Meet the Dukes'" day. A very well mannered young man and a hard worker. Go Bryan! Go Dukes!
