Louisiana Tech, UTSA, WKU and Old Dominion control their destiny. Everyone else needs help.

Without looking, I know Old Dominion would need WKU to lose a 2nd conference game in addition to winning theirs, so they do not control their own destiny. I think UTSA is in a similar situation.

Correct about Old Dominion. I forgot they had lost to WKU. But UTSA is in control. They will be at worse one loss behind La Tech and play La Tech next game.

UTSA is USM's hurdle. We need them to lose one more.
This league makes no sense this year.

You can say that again...04-cheers

UTSA and LaTech play each other next week, so whoever wins out of those two, pretty much wins the West

I apologize, I wasn't able to check the conference standings, but knew the East standings pretty well from memory. I suppose I should be rooting for UTSA to win so that WKU could host. I don't think either LaTech or UTSA would be an easy game for us (LaTech already beating us at their place this season), of course we have business to take care of before any of that matters.
Who would have thought the West would come down to UTSA and La. TEch and not La. Tech Southern Miss, what a difference a week makes, that last game now looks meaningless....

WKU and La. TEch are rolling and seem to be heading toward a rematch in Shreveport....

I think you're right. Tech can't have a letdown like last year against Southern Miss

Yep I guess that game may not be too meaningless because a loss would have WKU hosting game again...

even if you guys do??? no worries there matey.....you guys only win by 21....

our D is as clueless as I've ever seen....that includes the Badford years and '12....
I would be thrilled with 1 point victory against Southern Miss in Hattiesburg
1 game at a time, Dawgs! UTSA will be the biggest game of this season for us.
Southern Miss still controls its destiny.

Edit: I was wrong. UTSA needs to lose for USM to have a chance.
Ok Marshall. Now is the time to show some pride and win out!

Negative. If Southern Miss wins out and UTSA wins out Southern Miss loses head-to-head. There can't be a three-way tie unless UTSA beats La Tech and losses their last game and La Tech losses their last two games. So, Southern Miss still needs help.
Who would have thought after a 1-3 start, and even after a 5-OT loss to lowly UTEP, that UTSA would control its own destiny for a conference championship this late in the season?
Regardless of what happens at La Tech next week I'm pretty pumped for the Roadrunners future. The new coaching regime is actually coaching and recruiting is off the charts. Pretty much all the key players this year will return next year.

Looking forward to the game in Rustin. That game has always been chippy even from the WAC season

....And that's just about when the P5 school's swoop in and STEAL your entire coaching staff from you. 03-lmfao

And yes, I DO know what I'm talking about from first hand knowledge. Be prepared; remember if your team gets "too good", your coach WILL BE GONE. 04-cheers
