MTSU has their tickets available on their website for the Jan 1 game. However, they post a tip time of 8pm, while UABSports.com shows it as being a 3pm tip. We'll probably make the trip regardless, but wow, I'd much rather have the 3pm tip time.

Probably a ticketing glitch. Their basketball schedule lists a 3pm tip time for the game as well.

Off question that I thought of from this:

What is the earliest conference game UAB has ever played? What about in C-USA specifically? I'll hang up and listen, thanks.

We played at least one Sun Belt games in December. I don't recall any in CUSA. We have never played a game on New Years Day before, so this is one of the earliest.
Conference games played before January 1:

Sun Belt
December 14, 1978 Georgia State (W 100-81)*
December 18, 1978 South Alabama (W 75-72)*
December 5, 1979 at New Orleans (W 82-73)
December 15, 1979 at Georgia State (W 100-73)
December 6, 1983 Old Dominion (W 83-73)

* as an associate member of conference

Great Midwest
None

Conference USA
December 30, 1998 at Tulane (W 88-78)
As an FYI, GA tickets to that weirdass arena of theirs were $12 last year.

Murphreesboro is a very easy drive for me. I'll probably make the trip.
Close drive for me. I'm in of course. Count DM Blazer in and maybe even the son in law. Gadsdencop

Depending on a couple of things, I could pull this trip off.
I've heard the Alumni Association is doing a bus for WKU. Typically MTSU gets one as well.
Easy trip No excuse not to fill it up with Blazers. It's time we act like a big time program if we want to be one.

I doubt they do, with the game on New Years Day.

we need to pick a pre-game spot to eat!
where section are you buying tix in?
I'll likely be there. Also thinking about going to the WKU game in Bowling Green.
