My guess is that Candle thinks we are utilizing our talent. Williams transferred here because he wasn't going to see the field for an ND team that is horrible. Tuzar has been getting PT and has made some big plays.

Yep. It's easy to presume that a transfer from a P5 school will be a starter and all-MAC here, but not necessarily. Although I want to say that we did recruit Williams initially before he signed at Notre Dame...?

How good a player is his 3rd year of high school is a lot different from his 3rd year of college.
