We will all be in agreement on this - preseason polls are silly. Below the preseason Top 25 with the current team records. No better way to demonstrate the advantage that is given to certain names before a down of football is even played than to show how far off these voters were.

Some might say that this year is an outlier, but in reality this happens every year. Preseason polls are crap, in football and basketball.
