What is Maction?

Opportunity for season ticket holders to stop buying them.

Opportunity for those that have tickets to be late for games because they are coming from work......

Opportunity for those that have jobs not to go to away games.

Opportunity for attendees to pick any seat they want to sit in.

Opportunity for those that actually get to the games to leave early because they have to work in the morning and the boss expects them there.

Opportunity to get to and from the stadium quickly due to no traffic.

Opportunity to park next to the stadium due to no cars in the parking lots.

Opportunity not to tailgate or visit with friends because there is no time for it.

Opportunity for the players to play in empty stadiums.

Opportunity for the players to hear their name echoing throughout the stadium off the empty seats when called by the PA announcer.

and the writer of this fluff article says we may not be worthy of watching MACtion............

I wish there were less Maction games too but there wouldn't be anymore people at games... Back in the 90' no one showed for those games... correct me if I'm wrong but when Casey Mcbeth broke a single game rush record (Akron) there may have been 200 people at the game. I can remember being in the suites that nite or another game and counting the fans. It was always embarrassing, at least we had 15,000 there on Thurs. It was a decent crowd. I do wish we played games on sat. but I'm not sure things have changed.

Back in the early '90's there were about 50,000 more people in the City of Toledo.
Btw, the cost of a Big MAC has almost risen proportionally to the rise in minimum wage over that time period. Which should tell you about minimum wage increases in the long run.
