Interested in hearing everyone's thoughts as to what would be some new and creative stadium amenities ideas? Any thing really that could help to drive up attendance and revenues.
Craft beer! As much of it as possible!
You want creative?
Waterfall
Swimming pool
Something big that pops up when we score like a lion head that roars
Kids play area
Party deck
Money drop!
Obviously there's no re-creating FAU's beach area without explicitly copying it, but it would be nice for the new stadium to have something of a natural touch to it. Don't want it feeling cold and industrial like the rest of FAU's stadium. Some greenery along the exterior would be nice, and maybe one of those metal mesh plates covering a side of the parking deck so ivy/climbing foliage could grow up it during the warm months.
Turn the parking garage rooftop into a Wrigley Field rooftop type experience. Install some temporary seating on the top deck, sell tickets and serve those fans as if they were in the suites. They could also have access to the bathrooms in the game day building.
Hah, some night at the roxbury style.

Watch party setup for road games.
Allow tailgating in lots closest to stadium on first-come, first serve basis for these road games.
Let kids play on the field during watch party (no food or drinks allowed on field).

With the proposed new scoreboard we're supposed to get, an away watch party could be pretty sweet in the stadium.

But would the neighborhoods and the city be okay with 13 straight weeks of road closures, tailgating, and noise?

Road watch parties wouldn't get more than 4000 fans. Probably more like 1000 on average. No different than hosting a HS playoff game.

And it doesn't have to be on the big screen only. It can be on a concourse deck, the area on first floor of Gameday Building, or the deck behind the loge seating in the Gameday Building. It would be just a matter of setting it up to mimic a bar.
I know its a bit crazy, but I always thought it would be awesome to make a beautiful small habitat area outside of the stadium and on game days bring a lion from the zoo over for the day. I'd also like to see some more statues, maybe another lion fountain like outside of Webb Center. If we are going through with all seatbacks, we may as well ad cupholders. The most important one in my opinion is a nicer scoreboard that everyone can see. I wouldn't mind a history/hall of fame type area for people to wander through as well. Maybe vendors with uniquely Virginia food items like oysters, fried fish, barbecue, Va Ham, caramel apples, beer and wine all sourced from the old dominion. I would like to see abc sales in the main stadium too. I'd still like them to do something for fans and alumni to be able to buy a brick or paver with a message inscribed on it as well. That would give fans a personal connection to the team, campus and stadium that would be long lasting. Finally, bring back the flyovers. With our connection to the Navy base this is a very cool and relatable thing that makes the event seem "big time". Things like that make it unique and special to Old Dominion.

Cool. A statue of a lion that, once per year, we sacrifice a ram in front of.

Why not do this in the Ted (as long as their isn't a bball game)? Put those new video boards to good use.

My guess is cost. It has to cost some amount of money to open the TED. There might have to be a way that doing this would at least come close to paying for it.
