We should easily top 4,000 at some point this year but nowhere near a sellout. At least SF likes to dream big.

“Success for me would be a sold out arena,” Frazier said. “When I go in there and see the amount of people who are at a DeKalb-Sycamore high school game – I live in the community, my daughter goes to DeKalb High School. When I come to the DeKalb-Sycamore game and I walk into that stadium, that’s what I would want for our men’s and women’s programs.”

4000, maybe for the season.
I think the potential is there for a 6000 but it would have to be a team that it like 20-2 and starting to get into the others receiving votes category
what is the game plan to market the team to the students though?
They have totally cost themselves thousands of fans by having Saturday afternoon games instead of a 7p.m start on Saturday's

Not to mention the Saturday games that will assuredly move to Friday per tv contract
Sellout.

Are they going to cover the last 10+ rows of the arena, similar to east side for football?
Was Maric eligible for another year and just decided to move on or he didn't get a redshirt his first year. I sure wish if he has a year left that Monty could talk him into coming back. 2017-18 could have started with NIU as preseason number one if he was back

if your coming from the city a 2pm tipoff is nice. watch the game drop some dough at Fatty's and get home at a good time.

Both Maric and Highsmith were listed as Sophmores last year. This year they're both Seniors. I'm puzzled by this too.

I don't understand that either. What is going on? Unless that's just a mistake.
If I still lived in Illinois I would be a season ticket holder for both programs. What a great time for Huskie Basketball. We have great coaches and great talent, it is beginning to remind me of the early 70's.
With a good record and a contender from the West coming in (think EMU or UT) we could easily get to 7 or 8 thousand. Back, what 10 years ago there was 5500ish for a big game against CMU. My prediction is Mens BBall attendance surprises and has a conference average of 3000. No way womens BBall has good attendance. Very few womens teams are a big draw.

Agreed. This is how I feel. Personally, I don't like Saturday night games. One or two aren't bad, but I don't like driving home 85 miles in winter at night. Have the game in the afternoon, go out to dinner, and then head home at a decent time.

The problem we have is that both emu and Toledo are going to be moved to Friday at 5pm
Never going to happen, and it's a shame.

Maric is graduating so he has options.

That's going to suck. It was going to be PACKED last year vs toledo before they pulled that crap on us.

Wait, what happened with Maric?
