Here's mine;

C Rykhoek 7.5ppg, 4 rebs
PF Dedric. 19 ppg. 11 reb. 2.5 assts
SF Crawford 8 ppg. 4.5 reb. 2 steals
SG Kessee. 9 ppg. 38% 3 pt%
PG Martin 7 ppg. 4 assts. 2.5 TOs

KJ (if healthy) and Randall will dominate minutes off the bench. Maybe overstating DLs numbers cause he is going to be double and triple teamed every time he is in half court O.

I might put kj at starting sf.
A key stat might just be how many games rykhoek can stay healthy.
I love Crawford, but maybe he'd be better off the bench.
Lots of unknowns this season
I predict Markel will be second in rebounds
I will be happy to have a set starting lineup and set player rotations.

I never had a problem with changing lineups

I just don't want someone who is showing improvement benched for a guy that just joined the team

I think we can all agree that we are going to see a much more balanced and rationale rotation with clearly defined roles.

We may very well see the proper use of time-outs as well 04-bow

No timeouts after a made 3 killing momentum ?
Rivers
Dedric
KJ
Markel
Martin

That's about what I'm thinking
Bench is primarily Chad, Jake, Kessee, and Clergeot

One player will surprise by playing quality minutes - whether one of the 4 walk-ons, or Azab in second semester (if he doesn't redshirt).
You're thinking Kessee as a zone-buster?
I could easily see the 3 guard though - Martin, Markel and Kessee with Dedric and Rivers.

Bench then is a little better balanced - Chad, Jake, KJ and Clergeot, and with KJ still struggling to return to 100%, this might be how the season starts.

Hit the nail on the head! Drove me ******* insane!!!
If Rychoek averages 7.5 and 4 I will be absolutely astonished.

For comparison's sake:
Shaq averaged 7.4 and 4.4 as a frosh.
Austin went for 9.3 and 4.3
Tarik was a 9 and 5 guy.
Stan Simpson (a top 10 ranked JUCO) was 1.6 and 1.3.
Nick Marshall was 3.1 and 2.7
Calvin Godfrey was 4.5 and 3.6
David Pellom was 4.2 and 2.9
Dominic Woodson was 2.5 and 2.9

This guy is a senior by age, heard he has great touch for a C and since we have no other bigs (Rivers physically is a 3), he will get all the minutes his stamina can stand. Yes, Kessee has to be our zone buster-no one else can do it IMO.
Last year we averaged about 76 points and 40 rebounds. We will likely score less and rebound less this year. I'd predict about 73 and 38.

Dedric 22 pts, 11 reb, 32 minutes per game
KJ 12 pts, 7 reb, 29 min
Kessee 10 pts, 3 reb, 28 min
Markel 7 pts, 5 reb, 28 min
Martin 6 pts, 4 reb, 26 min
Rivers 4 ppg, 2 rpg, 16 min
Chad 3 ppg, 2 rpg, 13 min
Randall 3 ppg, 1 rpg, 10 min
Clergeot 2 ppg, 1 rpg, 10 min
Jake 1 ppg, 1 rpg, 6 min

Martin, Kessee, KJ, Dedric, Rivers start.

He hasn't played organized basketball since h.s., so skill wise he's no better off than any above. I don't take much credence in "practice reports" because it's just that.

This was a optimistic projection on my part-but if you add it up and take our bench into consideration, we probably need this to have a winning record. Rivers wasn't even the best player on SWCC team.

I get hammered for being a miserable and nitpicked for being optimistic-lol!

Not hammering you at all, just noting that, based on other players in his role, the 7 and 4 would be an outlier.

Part of Rycook's (correct pronunciation) projected numbers are because if Tubby and others are being straightforward, a 6-10 guy who has a 16-18 foot jumper can put up 8-10 in a hurry. How many have you seen in college ball lately? Especially with the sagging zones we will see-other than KJ being a bust (injury or Tubby benching him due to shot selection), Chad is the key to this team.

If he can make that shot, the whole game plan changes. But, Dedric wants to play on perimeter too so.....
