He'll write a new book, this one titled "The Art of Staying Relevant".
Why depress us all? I figured we would get rid of one of the two permanently come January.

Whoever wins, especially if Trump wins, will face legal challenges to the election from the other side. HRC tried to change the rules after the fact in 2008 when she lost to Obama. Gore tried to do the same in 2000. That is the one thing that is for certain. Democrats won't accept the results of the election.

What? Which party is saying it's rigged before we even have the election? Gore was demanding an overly extensive recount in 1 state in one of the closet election in American history.
His primary campaign was originally focused just on free advertising for his brand. So no surprise.
Gore didnt demand anything. The election in FL was so close it triggered an automatic recount. Bush sued to stop it and -- surprise surprise -- the conservative majority stopped it.

The recount was done and the election was certified. Gore tried to overturn it and do a selective recount and mind-reading in Democratic counties.

To see her ugly fat azz brought to court to pay for her corruption and fraud would be awesome in more ways than I can count.

The case was Bush v Gore. You know that means Bush was the appellant (plaintiff bringing the appeal) right? The Florida Supreme Court had ordered a recount and Bush filed an appeal to SCOTUS to meddle in FL's recount.
Your both partly right but putting your own spin on Bush v. Gore.
1. The election was so close that it did trigger an automatic recount, which Bush won.
2. Gore filed a complaint pursuant to florida's contest provisions basically saying a large percentage of votes were rejected illegally, and demanding manual recounts in specific counties (which were highly democratic counties)
3. It eventually got to the Florida Supreme Court which ordered manual recounts in ALL counties instead of Gore's selected counties, to try to make sure all the votes were counted if there was clear indication of who voter wants.
4. Bush appealed to stop the recount and it was stopped based on equal protection grounds by the 5 conservatives justices who essentially said because different standards would inevitably used to determine voter intent people's votes wouldn't be counted equally. The conservatives also said that this case has no precedential value and can't be used to interfere with state's ability to conduct elections in the future. The 4 liberal justices said that election procedures were a power constitutionally delegated to the states and that the state's interpretation of it's own election law should therefore be upheld.
