The Big 12 is likely not to expand and the main reason could be a development from the TV partners where ESPN and FOX could buyout the pro-rata increase clause.

The Big 12 Presidents are meeting Monday and are expected to make an announcement by 5PM.

Hmm. If so it's a stop gap measure until the GOR expires and while it might not quite cost them as much as the pro rata, it will be better than dealing with a bunch of ticked off G5's promoted only to have their new conference demoted.

It might also put a little more pressure on placing 8 and ending this mess. We'll see.

I just want a decision made on Monday. Don't care what it is.
