BG will have plenty of motivation based on the articles and tone of the local media this week. Hope Toledo is focused and ready to take care of business.

I understand your point. I would be very surprised to see the Rockets come out flat for this game. Against EMU, yep, there were a bit flat...but I just don't think they will overlook BG.
Some good points on the trajectory of these programs. We built momentum with Beckman and then in transition hired twice from within and that has produced some consistency that seems to be paying off. On the flip side BG has gone external and has lost momentum.

For teams at our level it's almost wise to hire your next two head coaches when replacing your departing ball coach. You need a head guy and a top assistant who hopefull can be retained if a bigger school cherry picks your coach with a huge salary increase. If we continue to have success, Candell is gone in 3-5 yrs. Who on staff could be our next head ball coach? I don't think Saban is coming back.

I would be too, but I also suspect bg will play their best game of the season and will be fired up. It's looking like this will be their bowl game.

Theyy can play their best game and still lose. They are a BAD TEAM.

Don't know how bad BGSU is or how good our Rockets may be, but I hope you're correct.
Anyone player not up and on notice for this game, doesn't understand this game. BG knows they can upset the apple cart if nothing else. It would be a big win and they will be ready.
The game was uncomfortably close and really further exposed this UT team's weaknesses

What I wouldn't give for the 2015 defense right now.

And focus and urgency on offense seemed somewhat lacking.
