On the CFN Midseason Top 10 Players, they have Nate Holley #10...

"10. S Nate Holley, Sr. Kent State

MAC schMAC – the guy showed up against Alabama, too. The best open-field tackler in college football, he’s leading the nation with 86 stops with double-digit tackles in every game and 17 in two of them – he’s done this throughout his career. On solo stops alone he’d be 19th in the nation in tackles."
Nick is getting some recognition also:

If Haynes is still our head coach next year I think he'll owe his job to the Holley family.
If it wasn't for Paul Haynes, the Holley's wouldn't have had Division 1 scholarships

Came here to say this! If Nick Holley can keep up the pace leading this offense we can win some games this year! Must win today @ Miami, let's get it done!
Too bad that the good play by Nate, will not overcome bad in game coaching. When do the powers get serious about winning at FB.

In my mind yesterday was a crossroads.. I firmly believe Haynes has costed us 3 games this year (NCA&M, Akron, and now Miami) and the writing is on the wall. I really like Haynes as a person and have no doubts his love for the program, but after four years enough is enough.

For all you guys who were complimenting him for having the idea to play Holley at QB they specifically said during game commentary yesterday that Don Treadwell approached Haynes about it so that wasn't even his idea. Had Treadwell not approached Haynes we would've had Bollas in there for the last 3 games which judging by his attempted game winning drive yesterday wouldn't have been a good thing!

in defense of Bollas ... he has been put in some tough last-minute situations (Miami, NIU last year). And he has struggled to say the least. At the same time, the first rule of QB play is not to hurt the team. And in each case he has.

My question ... vs. Miami ... is that's the perfect place for Reardon to come in. Despite his short-comings, I never had the sense he rattled under pressure. I do believe, as a backup, he would be more than servicable if just due to his experience alone.
