I don't see Herman going anywhere. Unfinished business and all. I know you don't need a Temple guy telling you to keep your chin up -because that's absurd- but kinda keep your chin up because you still have one of the most dynamic programs in the country and are a cut above the rest of us here in the AAC. Today was just their day- congrats Navy. Both teams represented the best of our conference today.
cooger hi, what a joke

This will make it easier for Herman to leave if he so chooses. LSU comes to mind immediately, Texas is probably the only other job that could get Herman to leave also.
A 1 loss Houston can still make a top tier bowl. Fiesta/Peach whatever we call the previous BCS bowls now.

They wont fall out of the top 25. I'd expect a 20-25 ranking. Lots of time left on the season to move up to top 15

UH will have to find a way to win the west to get that NY6 bowl........

Houston will still be favored in the rest of their games.

Navy isn't exactly a world beater. I watched that Air Force game... They will struggle to stay perfect in conference play.

Coog'ed it! I really feel like Houston lost this game more than Navy won it. I'm pretty sure a ranked Houston wins the tie-break rules if we have multiple 1 loss teams in the West.

Still think Houston vs USF in conference championship.
We didn't play anything close to our A game, but take nothing away from Navy. They were without question the better team yesterday.

And it begins.

Actually there's an order to the tie-breaker rules. First is head-to-head competition. This requires Navy to have 2 conference losses before UH has a chance to win the west unless there's a 3-way tie (example Memphis beats Navy but loses to UH - and all 3 have the same number of conference losses). And rank comes into play after head-to-head & then common opponents, then rankings. So UH has to win the west to play in the conference title game. And only conference champs are eligible to play in the G slot NY day bowl.

Yes, I expect Memphis to beat Navy and lose to Houston. 07-coffee3
