Is it your alma mater; is it family tradition or is it simply your location to the university. Let me hear from you...

Me? I'm a proud graduate of TROY a few times over (AS '08, BS '09, MS '12)
Graduate of TXST. Started following the team my senior year of high school after getting accepted.
Both parents attended GS. I did, my wife did. Our son transferred to GS after a year at an NAIA school and walked on in Monken's first year as head coach and played three years as an Eagle. He now has Bachelor's and Master's degrees from GS. The GS gene skipped our older son. He's a pretty good guy even if he's a UGA grad.

Sweet! Any Grad school??
My dad graduated in 1950, and hasn't missed a Homecoming game since '46 (he was still active duty in the Army). He's missed 6 home games since '50.
Eh, you see, I had no choice in the matter.

Family tradition. I'm a closet OSU Buckeye because of family tradition
Grandmother went to Georgia Teacher's College.

Parents went to Georgia Southern College.

My brothers and I went to Georgia Southern University.

Go GTC Professors! GATA GS Eagles!
Both parents are grads of stAte. I grew up in Jonesnoro going to games. Wasn't into football much as a kid, but was a big basketball fan. Went to stAte, met my wife there who's father is an alum too. Graduated and went to grad school at Tennessee and Iowa. Iowa is my secondary school.

Iowa? But your heart belongs to stAte.
I grew up in Jonesboro. I started working at the local newspaper when I was 17 years old. I was a newspaper photographer at 18 and covered the local university as part of my duties. I spent the next 18 years as a sports shooter for the newspaper and also freelancing that included doing all the athletic department photography for stAte and their sports information department. I have several media guide covers to my name. Some I'm not particularly proud of. I moved on to subsequent career moves but my heart stayed with the Indians/Redwolves. Now, 20 years after I left Jonesboro, I find I'm still attached.

We're in a bad spot right now. We've been there before. We'll be back.
Impressive!!! Wolves will NOT stay down. There's a lot of football to go.

Yup. Unfortunately both teams are having down years and lost to FCS teams.

I guess I should've distinguished between the diffrent names. Dad graduated from GTC. Mom did grad work at GSC. MY bachelors is from GSC and my masters was from GSU.
Grew up less than 1 mile from USA. Been going to basketball games since 1978. Went elsewhere for Undergrad degree number 1 (GWU). Went to USA for grad degree 2. Went to grad school at a D3 school. Been a huge fan of USA for almost 40 years. If GW plays USA in basketball....I'd have to flip a coin. But otherwise...Go Jags.
BS from main campus and MS degrees from TROY Key West campus. My closest cousin teaches at the main campus and her husband does play-by-play for many TROY women's basketball games. Close connection to the school through many other family members who hold TROY degrees. My family is a little odd as all have always been Trojan fans and never got sucked into rooting or caring about either of Auburn or the Tuscaloosa Technical College.
Basically grew up on the A-State campus.

1st generation Eagle, applied sight unseen when I was in Texas in the Air Force, and transferred in as a sophomore after finishing AF technical school in Wichita Falls. I'll admit that Erk and football was what put Southern on my radar, only knew two folks who were at the school (at that time), although once I got there I found some old friends from middle school who I used to know when I lived in South Carolina.

My son is a sophomore now in Statesboro, so the tradition continues 03-wink
Key west Trojan I sat behind Buddy at the last home game. But a '16 Grad of Troy University main campus. Grew up an Auburn fan living less than 45 minutes from the campus.
